Audit The FED…PASSED the House

Ron Paul’s Audit the FED Bill passed by an Astounding 327-98 in the House vote today.

This is truly a major victory in the cause of Liberty! Free Markets! and in the fight against Central Planning! In the 2008 presidential campaign Ron Paul was at times laughed at by those that didn’t support him. In large part it was because they had no idea about the Federal Reserve. A lot has changed in 4 years. Though many still, in my opinion, mischaracterize and disagree with the mischaracterized foreign policy of Ron Paul, they have been educated by him on many monetary and economic principles. Today the house voted to pass the legislation with the necessary 2/3 vote that it required to be approved.

The next step is to have the legislation pass the Senate. This will be a tough fight. As of now most pundits will agree that the bill will die in the Senate. However, We the People need to contact our Senators and voice our support for the Audit the FED legislation. Let’s fight for our children and grandchildren…I AM THE GRANDCHILD! We must stand up to the evils of the private bank that destroys our wealth through inflation and subjects us all to their policy.

Though Ron Paul always said he was in it to win it, and I believe him, you cannot argue that him being in the 2012 Presidential race has done more to shape the political discussion and education than any other candidate.
